Create an interactive story

In Scratch once conditionals and messages have been introduced you can ask the students to create an interactive story that has at least 2 different endings using at least one conditional (if).  You can use the ask "text" and wait block which is found in the Sensing category to ask the question and then use a conditional to pick which ending to show.  You can broadcast a message to start the selected ending.  Using these types of open ended projects encourages students to be creative.  Also, having students show what they have created encourages creativity.
