"Women of the Code"

Today I came across a great article in our local newspaper titled, "Women of the Code". It features a girl by the name of Cassidy Williams who started coding when she was in the eighth grade and follows her to her most recent career as a computer programmer in NY.

 

The article talks about the discrepancies between females and males in the computing field and how to change the current situation.  It also promotes many of the organizations who work with females to encourage them to go into the programming field like Girls Who Code and NCWIT.
