Pedagogy

This group addresses computer science pedagogical content knowledge to support high school classroom instruction that is specific to the CPS and ECS courses. We will discuss such concerns as curriculum pacing, differentiating instruction to address diverse student needs (e.g., English language learners [ELLs] and students with disabilities), modifying college-level course activities and assignments for high school, project-based learning, and models of good teaching practices (e.g., discussing a video of a master teacher introducing a difficult concept).
