In fall 2013, NSF announced nine awards in eight states to projects designed to develop the knowledge base and partnerships needed to catalyze the CS 10K Project. The funded projects include novel models for professional development and ongoing support for teachers, partnerships with a variety of school districts, state organizations, universities, and educational non-profits.

Massachusetts Exploring Computer Science Partnership (MECSP) (Educational Development Center)
CS 10K: Educational Media to Advance Computer Science (EMACS) (Twin Cities Public Television)
Illinois State University (ISU) Initiates Teacher Education in Computer Science (TECS) (Illinois State University)
EAGER: Increasing the Supply of High-Quality Computer Science Instructors in Low-Income Communities (Teach for America)
